The races
Pick one race at the start of a game; its five tower lines are all you build with. Each race has a cheap maze brick, three core lines that branch into two specialisations, and an ultimate.
Fire, Frost and Storm are free to play. Premium unlocks the other five and every wave after wave 30. Every tower has its own page in the tower list; the enemies are in bosses and giants.
Fire FreeSplash damage, burn swarms
Frost FreeSlow, control, precision
Storm FreeChain lightning across groups
Nature PremiumPoison DoT, stun, support auras
Water PremiumTides, pressure, splash
Light PremiumTrue damage, holy fury
Gale PremiumRapid-fire wind, sustained DPS
Arcane PremiumLong range, devastating shots
The element triangle
Every tower deals fire, nature, water or neutral damage, and every creep has an element too. Fire beats nature, nature beats water and water beats fire: a strong hit deals 1.5× damage, a weak one 0.5× (bosses shrug off half the weakness and still take 0.75×). Neutral damage ignores the triangle, and true damage ignores both elements and armour.
In a team, mix races so the lanes cover each other's weak spots: a race that struggles with flyers or armoured bosses is best next to one that handles them.
